Here's a cute little beaded crochet bracelet that works up really fast, since it's made with yarn.
You can make it any size you want, with or without beads.
What You'll Need
- G Hook
- WW yarn- I used Caron Simply Soft
- small pony beads- as long as they fit on your yarn
- tapestry needle- for sewing together/ weaving in ends
Abreviations
bch: beaded chain- same as a normal chain stitch except you pull
a bead up to your hook first, securing the bead on the back ridge
a bead up to your hook first, securing the bead on the back ridge
ext sc: extended single crochet
dc: double crochet
sl st: slip stitch
ch: chain
The Pattern
*note- you can make this bracelet any size by using this multiple:
bch, ch 2, bch + ch 1. also ch 1 only right after the slip knot
if you're making yours without beads, just ignore the parts about the beads and
substitute a normal chain stitch
string on all of your beads- you can't add them later
I used nine, and my bracelet is about 5 3/4" around
(but I'm a tight crocheter)
so, figure about 1 bead for every 3/4"
I used nine, and my bracelet is about 5 3/4" around
(but I'm a tight crocheter)
so, figure about 1 bead for every 3/4"
it' better to add more than you think you'll need, since you don't
have to use them all
have to use them all
push the beads back out of your way until you need them
(the stitch multiple is bold) ch 1, *bch, ch 2* - 8 times (+/- depending on your
size) ending with another bch, then ch 1 and turn the chain
** unless told otherwise, work only in the
top loop of the "v" part of the chain**
starting in bch closest to hook: with the beads facing away from you, *in the bch- ext sc, dc,
ext sc, then sl st in each of the next two stitches* across, leaving one st alone
you should always be slip stitching in the chains without beads and
doing the taller stitches in the chains with beads
there should be one bch left unworked. ext sc, dc, ext sc in it and ch 1
you will not be doing anything to the ch 1 at the very beginning, it is
there to make it more stable than starting with a bch
turn the bracelet so the bumpy edge is on the bottom and the beads
are still facing away from you
in the "new" top loop, *in the same bch- ext sc, dc, ext sc, then
sl st in each of the next two stitches* across
sl st to the ch 1 turning ch you made earlier then fasten off and weave in ends
You can finish your bracelet however you like...
I sewed the two ends together for one bracelet and
for the other one I attached a small crocheted circle with a button
on it and chained a few before I fastened off.
Be creative!!

needlekrafter: Thank you so much! You don't know how much that means to me!
These are seriously cute! I needed something small to slip into a care package I'm getting ready to send my sister and I think my niece and nephews would really get a kick outta these. Now I just need to dig around and find some yarn in their favorite colors, heh.
Thanks for sharing the pattern!
